OH MY PUG'NESS!

OH MY PUG'NESS!

"I love the personalities of animals. I like imagining what animals might say if they could talk."

Gemma Correll is a cartoonist, pug lover, a self-described introvert & anti-socialite. Her illustrations racked up an impressive list of publications including The New York Times, and The Observer. And her books became bestsellers.

Gemma is particularly known for her “pugs not drugs” comics. She has two dogs that she draws often; Zander, a 3-year-old Chihuahua-pug mix, and Mr. Pickles, a 10-year-old pug.

She’s built her artworks around a wide range of topics, from mental health to the representation of women’s bodies, feminism, animals, and more...

She created the series #mentalillnessfeelslike with Mental Health America to create awareness for various mental illnesses.
